Our Returns Policy

At Heavy Duty RC we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase and we understand that you may need to return a product. To assist we have outlined the Heavy Duty RC returns policy key points below.

We recommend you read our Returns Policy as well as our Terms and Conditions prior to making a purchase from Heavy Duty RC , so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs. 


Change of Mind (Non-Hydraulic Products Only)

Please choose carefully when purchasing a product. Heavy Duty RC must be advised within 14 days of receiving your goods if you intend to return a product under change-of-mind reasons.

Products must be returned in “as sold” condition, meaning:

  • Original undamaged packaging

  • All accessories included

  • Instruction manuals included

  • No signs of use

 

IMPORTANT – Hydraulic Models (Custom-Built Units)

Heavy Duty RC does not accept returns or change-of-mind cancellations for hydraulic RC models that are not premade and are only manufactured after an order is placed.

This applies especially to non-Kabolite hydraulic models, as these models are built to order, custom-assembled, tested, and prepared specifically for the buyer.

Because these units are produced individually, they cannot be resold as new or returned to production suppliers.

If a hydraulic model arrives defective or with a functional issue (rarely happnes), it will be repaired or serviced under warranty.

 

Troubleshooting Before Return

If you experience difficulties operating your product, please contact our customer service team first.
We strongly encourage basic troubleshooting with our staff before arranging a return.
Please check the product manual and FAQ pages as well.


Proof of Purchase

A valid proof of purchase is required to obtain a refund, credit, exchange, or repair.
Examples include:

  • Heavy Duty RC receipt

  • Order confirmation email

Bank or credit card statements may not be accepted unless the amount matches exactly and clearly identifies the item.


Goods Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged or not of acceptable quality, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
Please contact Customer Service immediately upon delivery.


Returns & Repairs Process

Customers may return goods by mail after contacting our Customer Service Team for guidance.

Goods must be returned within a reasonable timeframe, depending on the product type and value.
If an item is too large or difficult to return, we will arrange an alternative solution.

Returned goods will be inspected and repaired within a reasonable period.
Repair times may vary due to parts availability or manufacturer delays.


Product Assessment

The manufacturer or distributor will determine whether the product has:

  • No fault

  • A minor fault repairable within a reasonable time

  • A major fault requiring replacement, credit, or refund

  • Damage caused by misuse or abnormal operation

If no fault is found, or if damage is caused by misuse, Heavy Duty RC may pass on assessment fees charged by the supplier.

We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for products damaged by improper or abnormal use.

If the product does not match its advertised description, you may receive a credit or exchange.


Refunds

Refunds, when approved, will be processed via the original payment method or store credit.
Processing typically takes up to 7 days.
Approval for cash refund or store credit remains at Heavy Duty RC’s discretion.

If no proof of purchase is available, only an exchange or credit at the lowest recorded price will be issued.
